The recommended ambient operating temperature for Shinco's home dehumidifiers is between 5°C (41°F) and 35°C (95°F). The warm and humid air enters the dehumidifier through the grill on the back, passes over the cold coil, where water is condensed out of the air. The water collects on the pipes and drips into the bucket for later removal. The dry air is then reheated and blown back into the room by the compressor.
Shinco offers the ideal dehumidifier for home and basement use, with a maximum dehumidification capacity of 150 pints per day, a detachable 14.8-pint bucket with a water level indicator, and the ability to dehumidify rooms up to 7,000 sq. ft. These dehumidifiers are easy to use, with options for drain hose or bucket drainage. They are also Energy Star certified, helping customers save energy and money on their electricity bills.
Shinco's dehumidifiers feature modern and convenient features, including an LED display, 24-hour on/off timer, automatic defrost and restart, 2 fan speeds, 4 360° casters, a firm handle, water full alarm, and child lock. Before using the dehumidifier, it should be kept standing upright for 24 hours, and the bucket should be cleaned with potable water every two weeks to avoid scale and bacteria. The air filter should also be cleaned with water at least once every 30 days to maintain efficiency.
When storing the dehumidifier, it should be operated in the indoor drying mode, then covered with a plastic bag and stored upright in a dry, well-ventilated place after cleaning the main unit, bucket, and air filter.
